Refugee Solidarity
Ubuntu Passion Art and Workshop
Project Details
We strongly believe that every human being should be able to live a life without fear and violence and we should treat everybody fleeing from his home due to war, repression or poverty with understanding and support. But instead of building bridges, our western societies are rather building walls.
Under the titel “The pursuit of happiness”, we hosted a workshop and art campaign together with our friends from Ubuntu Passion Art, encouraging participants and visitors to reflect on the current refugee crises and develop a more empathic approach toward necwcomers in our society.
The activity was part of a three-day event organized by The Grameen Creative Lab and third culture movement to demonstrate solidarity between all human beings regardless of their cultural background or religion.
Special thanks to Hans Reitz, Christian Mappala, Michael Brohm, Friederike Schüch and especially Zerai Kiros Abraham for making this happen!
